in the many many hours i spent playing, i only saw 2 ships ever leave madagascar. ive also seen a ship head towards the dock in china, only to turn around and head to the dock in the middle east, then turn again and go back and forth a dozen times before choosing a the dock in australia. give the boats a fucking destination!!! at least the planes dont fuck all over the map before they choose a port! if madagascar is the country EVERYONE is having problems with, then fix the fucking docks!

first of all, the ending was disappointing. i figured i'd have to make some sort of last stand when i finally got to union city. instead, it ends as soon as i get there. this struck me as weird, almost as if something was supposed to happen, but didn't.
the intro cutscene was amazing. i love how it takes you right from the last game, straight into this one. generic, yes, but still executed spectacularly.
and i love how you still have the same guy as before, except with a big beard :D
overall, i loved it. but its missing that something special that the first one had. that certain, je ne sais quoi that cant be explained.
....wait!! i think i just figured it out! because this game is so much more expansive that the first one, you dont get as immersed in the story. the first one was straight to the point in the gameplay, but everything else completely sucked you in and gave the feeling that you really are a survivor. being able to read the diary every day made it more personal. in this one, the whole 'moving from town to town' this kinda detatches you from what make the first one so great.
amazing job, but this just seems like a jab in the chin to followup the haymaker to the head that the first game was

i FINALLY beat hard mode. the Hades boss spider bitch was a pain until i was able to back him against a wall so he would stop moving around. then i could finish him off with the sword. i love the sword. :)
now to go back and get 100% complete...

that was fucked up, but still pretty awsome. im pretty slow, so i didn't really get it till the end. then it was like a "The Sixth Sense" moment where you find out he was dead the whole time and it messes with your mind. visually, it was AMAZING. im still shocked how effective something so simple can be.

i liked it, but it really pissed me off. if a zombie ever managed to get close enough to attack(especially the fast ones), they stayed RIGHT on top of you making it impossible to hit them. other than that, pretty good

its fun, but theres some things that make it just too frustrating to love. probly my biggest complaint is the lack of a retry button. because the game is so hard, is get REALLY annoying having to watch the same death sequence and intro over and over and OVER and over again.
great game, but still needs a lot of tweaking

This was....beyond words. There's no other way to describe it. I created an account JUST to review this game. It was creative, and even thought it has been done before, the difference is that you actually managed to pull it off. And pull it off spectacularly.
The graphics weren't the best, but it fit with the game better than I could have ever hoped. The gameplay was fun and addictive. The sound was perfect. In fact, perfection doesn't even come CLOSE to describing the sound. The music was...indescribable superb. I actually started obsessing over the music and practiced it on my guitar for 2 days almost non-stop until I was able to play it myself. The songs fit like a glove with their respective levels; the feeling and emotion in each song matched perfectly with each situation at hand, whether it be opening the gates of hell, or simply the traveling scene.
Finally, though the 'twist' ending was blatantly obvious and expected, it was the best, if not the only, way to end the game. There's no other way the game could have ended, and the abrupt cut to the black "Game Over" screen, couldn't have possibly been better timed or better placed.
My only complaints are that it was too short (hence my burning desire for a much needed sequel), and the chapter selection cheats. After finishing the game once, I would have much rather been able to go derectly to a song I wanted to replay, instead of simply skipping to the chapter and waiting for the story scene to end and the song to begin.
Other than that, this is EASILY one of my favorite games. I thank you, with every fiber of my being, for creating this masterpiece.
